Women’s Zazimut T-SHIRT – White

Why are we trying to turn a simple cotton t-shirt into something you would want to wear? Because it represents much more than simple clothing. Yes, we know : India is far away and a haven for cheap labor… But it is also one of the only two countries that produce cotton which responds to the “Organic Agriculture” norms. This means refusing to use GMO seeds, chemical fertilizer and pesticides as well as reducing water consumption. This kind of agriculture, more than only contributing to preserve our health, our Earth and its farmers, it also provides decent income and a steady market for them.

The source material is then transported to Bangladesh in a garment factory, with good social and sanitary conditions. The dye is guaranteed without heavy metals, chlorine or solvents which are toxic for the environment and the health of the works just as much as the consumers !
Finally, our t-shirt arrives in Belgium where our motif is printed with water-based ink, devoid of plasisols, phthalates, PVC or aromatic solvents.

In buying this t-shirt, you are not only contributing to an environmentally friendly agriculture that develops fair working and living conditions, but you are also financing projects amidst the Zazimut network. These are internationally dispersed, but act locally to build up strong social ties, environmental respect and to support and defend those on the margins.
